The Standing Senate Committee on Foreign Affairs and International Trade

has the honour to present its

THIRD REPORT


Your committee, which was authorized by the Senate on Tuesday, March 16, 2010, to examine such issues as may arise from time to time relating to foreign relations and international trade generally, respectfully requests funds for the fiscal year ending on March 31, 2011.

Pursuant Chapter 3:06, to section 2(1)(c) of the Senate Administrative Rules, the budget submitted to the Standing Committee on Internal Economy, Budgets and Administration and the report thereon of that committee are appended to this report.

FOREIGN RELATIONS IN GENERAL

APPLICATION FOR BUDGET AUTHORIZATION FOR THE FISCAL YEAR ENDING MARCH 31, 2011 

Extract from the Journals of the Senate, Tuesday, March 16, 2010: 

The Honourable Senator Andreychuk moved, seconded by the Honourable Senator Johnson:

That the Standing Senate Committee on Foreign Affairs and International Trade, in accordance with Rule 86(1)(h), be authorized to examine such issues as may arise from time to time relating to foreign relations and international trade generally; and

That the committee report to the Senate no later than March 31, 2011.

The question being put on the motion, it was adopted.

     The Standing Committee on Internal Economy, Budgets and Administration has examined the budget presented to it by the Standing Senate Committee on Foreign Affairs and International Trade for the proposed expenditures of the said Committee for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2011 for the purpose of its special study on foreign relations in general, as authorized by the Senate on Tuesday, March 16, 2010.
