Second reading of Bill C-34, An Act to amend the Canada Transportation Act.

The Honourable Senator Wiebe moved, seconded by the Honourable Senator Banks, that the Bill be read the second time.

The question being put on the motion, it was adopted.

The Bill was then read the second time.

The Honourable Senator Wiebe moved, seconded by the Honourable Senator Maheu, that the Bill be referred to the Standing Senate Committee on Agriculture and Forestry.
