Extract of the Journals of the Senate, Wednesday, May 30, 2001:

The Honourable Senator Banks moved, seconded by the Honourable Senator Wiebe, that Bill C-22, An Act to amend the Income Tax Act, the Income Tax Application Rules, certain Acts related to the Income Tax Act, the Canada Pension Plan, the Customs Act, the Excise Tax Act, the Modernization of Benefits and Obligations Act and another Act related to the Excise Tax Act, be referred to the Standing Senate Committee on Banking, Trade and Commerce.

The question being put on the motion, it was adopted.
