(7) [English] The Standing Committee on Privileges, Standing Rules, and Orders met at 12:05 p.m. this day, the Chairman, the Honourable Senator Austin, P.C., presiding. Members of the committee present: The Honourable Senators Andreychuk, Austin, P.C., Bryden, Di Nino, Fraser, Gauthier, Grafstein, Joyal, P.C., Losier-Cool, Murray, P.C., Pitfield, P.C., Rossiter and Stratton (13). Other senators present: The Honourable Senators Moore and St. Germain, P.C. (2). In attendance: The official reporters of the Senate. The Chairman reviewed the proposed agenda of the committee for the coming weeks. The committee proceeded to the consideration of the motion of Senator St. Germain, P.C. regarding recognizing a third party, as referred to the committee by the Senate on March 27, 2001. After debate, It was agreed that further consideration of the motion be adjourned until the next meeting of the committee. At 1:30 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair. ATTEST:
