The Special Senate Committee on Anti-terrorism met this day at 2:30 p.m., in room 9, Victoria Building, the deputy chair, the Honourable Serge Joyal, P.C., presiding.
Members of the committee present: The Honourable Senators Andreychuk, Dagenais, Dallaire, Day, Joyal, P.C., Smith, P.C. (Cobourg), and Tkachuk (7).
Other senator present: The Honourable Senator White (1).
In attendance: Lyne Casavant and Holly Porteous, Analysts, Parliamentary Information and Research Service, Library of Parliament; and Brigitte Lemay, Communications Directorate.
Also in attendance: The official reporters of the Senate.
Pursuant to the order of reference adopted by the Senate on Thursday, March 8, 2012, the committee continued its examination of Bill S-7, An Act to amend the Criminal Code, the Canada Evidence Act and the Security of Information Act.
