The Standing Senate Committee on Aboriginal Peoples met this day, at 9:45 a.m., in room 160-S, Centre Block, the deputy chair, the Honourable Lillian Eva Dyck, presiding.
Members of the committee present: The Honourable Senators Ataullahjan, Demers, Dyck, Munson, Patterson, Raine, Seth, Wallace and Watt (9).
In attendance: Shauna Troniak and Wren Nasr, Analysts, Parliamentary Information and Research Service, Library of Parliament.
Also in attendance: The official reporters of the Senate.
Pursuant to the order of reference adopted by the Senate on Thursday, December 13, 2012, the committee continued its consideration of Bill C-27, An Act to enhance the financial accountability and transparency of First Nations. (For complete text of the order of reference, see proceedings of the committee, Issue No. 31.)

At 10:45 a.m., the committee suspended.
At 10:55 a.m., the committee resumed.
Mr. Goodtrack made a statement and answered questions.
At 11:30 a.m., it was agreed that the committee adjourn to the call of the chair.
