The Standing Senate Committee on Banking, Trade and Commerce met this day at 4:16 p.m., in room 9, Victoria Building, the chair, the Honourable Irving Gerstein, presiding.
Members of the committee present: The Honourable Senators Gerstein, Greene, Harb, Maltais, Massicotte, Moore, Oliver, Patterson, Poirier, Ringuette and Smith (Saurel) (11).

Pursuant to the order of reference adopted by the Senate on Tuesday, December 11, 2012, the committee continued its examination of Bill C-28, An Act to amend the Financial Consumer Agency of Canada Act.
