The Standing Senate Committee on Banking, Trade and Commerce met this
day, at 4:25 p.m., in room 9, Victoria Building, the chair, the Honourable
Irving Gerstein, presiding.
Members of the committee present: The Honourable Senators Black,
Campbell, Gerstein, Greene, Hervieux-Payette, P.C., Maltais, Massicotte,
Moore, Nancy Ruth, Oliver, Ringuette and Tkachuk (12).
In attendance: Brett Stuckey and Adriane Yong, Analysts,

Also in attendance: The official reporters of the Senate.
Pursuant to the order of reference adopted by the Senate on Thursday,
June 6, 2013, the committee continued its examination of Bill C-48, An Act
to amend the Income Tax Act, the Excise Tax Act, the Federal-Provincial
Fiscal Arrangements Act, the First Nations Goods and Services Tax Act and
Certified General Accountants Association of Canada (CGA-Canada):
