The Standing Senate Committee on Agriculture and Forestry met this day at 8:30 a.m., in room 2, Victoria Building, the chair, the Honourable Percy Mockler, presiding.
Members of the committee present: The Honourable Senators Beyak, Dagenais, Enverga, Maltais, Merchant, Mockler, Moore, Ogilvie, Oh and Tardif (10).
In attendance: Aïcha Coulibaly and Jed Chong, Analysts, Parliamentary Information and Research Services, Library of Parliament.
Also present: The official reporters of the Senate.
Pursuant to the order of reference adopted by the Senate on Thursday, October 23, 2014, the committee continued its study on international market access priorities for the Canadian agricultural and agri-food sector. (For complete text of the order of reference, see proceedings of the committee, Issue No. 18.)

Wendy Zatylny, President;
Captain Yoss B. Leclerc, Vice-President and Chief of Marine Operations, Port Authority of Québec.
Canadian Pacific:
Robert Taylor, Assistant Vice President, North American Advocacy.
The chair made a statement.
Ms. Zatylny and Mr. Taylor made statements and, together with Captain Leclerc, answered questions.
It was agreed:
That, notwithstanding the approval by the committee on March 12, 2015 of a special study budget application in the amount of $80,936 for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2016, that the committee now withdraw this application and the Chair inform the Standing Committee on Internal Economy, Budgets and Administration accordingly.
At 10:05 a.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the chair.
