The Standing Senate Committee on Foreign Affairs and International Trade met this day at 4:18 p.m., in room 160-S, Centre Block, the chair, the Honourable Raynell Andreychuk, presiding.

Members of the committee present: The Honourable Senators Andreychuk, Ataullahjan, Cools, Cordy, Eaton, Maltais, Ngo and Poirier (8).

In attendance: Natalie Mychajlyszyn and Pascal Tremblay, Analysts, Parliamentary Information and Research Services, Library of Parliament.

Also present: The official reporters of the Senate.

Pursuant to the order of reference adopted by the Senate on Wednesday, January 27, 2016, the committee continued study on foreign relations and international trade generally. Mr. Brazeau made a statement and answered questions.

At 5:53 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the chair.
