The Standing Senate Committee on National Finance met this day at 9:30 a.m., in room 9, Victoria Building, the chair, the Honourable Percy Mockler, presiding.

Members of the committee present: The Honourable Senators Andreychuk, Cools, Eaton, Gold, Marshall, Mockler, Moncion, Neufeld and Pratte (9).

In attendance: Sylvain Fleury and Alex Smith, Analysts, Parliamentary Information and Research Service, Library of Parliament.

Also present: The official reporters of the Senate.

Pursuant to the order of reference adopted by the Senate on Tuesday, February 23, 2016, the committee continued its study on the federal government's multi-billion dollar infrastructure funding program. (For complete text of the order of reference, see proceedings of the committee, Issue No. 7.)

City of Vancouver:

Jerry Dobrovolny, General Manager of Engineering Services;

Patrice Impey, Chief Financial Officer.

Luc Desjardins, President;

Frédérick Dion, Executive Director.

Mr. Brown, Ms. Impey, Mr. Dobrovolny and Mr. Desjardins each made a statement and, together with Mr. Thompson and Mr. Dion, answered questions.

At 11:20 a.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the chair.
