The Standing Senate Committee on Fisheries and Oceans met this day at 5:56 p.m., in room 9, Victoria Building, the chair, the Honourable Fabian Manning, presiding.
Members of the committee present: The Honourable Senators Coyle, Manning, McInnis, Munson, Poirier and Raine (6).
In attendance: Odette Madore, Analyst, Parliamentary Information and Research Services, Library of Parliament; Ben Silverman, Communications Officer, Senate Communications Directorate.
Also present: The official reporters of the Senate.
Pursuant to the order of reference adopted by the Senate on Thursday, April 14, 2016, the committee continued its study on Maritime Search and Rescue activities, including current challenges and opportunities. Mr. Lick made a statement and, together with Mr. Ryan, answered questions.
At 7:48 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the chair.
