Pursuant to the order of the Senate of March 30, 2021, the Standing Senate Committee on Official Languages met this day by videoconference at 5 p.m. [ET], the chair, the Honourable René Cormier, presiding. This meeting is considered to have taken place in the parliamentary precinct.
Members of the committee present by videoconference: The Honourable Senators Bovey, Carignan, P.C., Cormier, Dagenais, Gagné, Moncion and Smith (7).

Pursuant to the order of reference adopted by the Senate on Tuesday, March 30, 2021, the committee continued its examination of matters relating to official languages generally, as stated in rule 12-7(3).
The committee continued its study of the official languages reform project.
