The Standing Senate Committee on Transport and Communications met this day at 6:45 p.m., in room B45, Senate of Canada Building, the deputy chair, the Honourable Julie Miville-Dechêne, presiding.
Members of the committee present: The Honourable Senators Cardozo, Clement, Cuzner, Dasko, Deacon (Ontario), Miville-Dechêne, Quinn and Simons (8).

Pursuant to the order of reference adopted by the Senate on Thursday, May 9, 2024, the committee continued its consideration of Bill S-269, An Act respecting a national framework on advertising for sports betting.
