The Standing Committee on Internal Economy, Budgets and Administration has the honour to table its

FORTIETH REPORT

On Thursday, December 6, 2018 and on Thursday, May 9, 2019, through the adoption of reports of the Subcommittee on Committee Budgets, your committee agreed to table in the Senate the post-activity expenditure reports of Senate committees in order to increase the public’s understanding of committee budgets and actual expenditures.

This responds to an increased demand for transparency regarding Senate expenses.

Therefore, in accordance with the decisions of Thursday, December 6, 2018 and Thursday, May 9, 2019, your committee now tables the following committee post-activity expenditure reports for 2015-16, 2016-17 and 2017-18 (1st Session, 42nd Parliament), which are appended to this report:
