The Standing Committee on Internal Economy, Budgets and Administration met in camera at 12:10 p.m. this day, the Chairman, the Honourable Senator Rompkey, presiding.

Members of the committee present: The Honourable Senators Callbeck, DeBané, DeWare, Forrestall, LeBreton, Losier-Cool, Maheu, Nolin, Poulin, Robichaud, Rompkey, Stollery and Taylor (13).

Other senators Present: The Honourable Senator Corbin, Grafstein, Kelly and Kenny.(4)

In attendance: Mr. Paul Bélisle, Clerk of the Senate, and other Senate officials.

At 1:05 p.m., the committee proceeded in public.

It was agreed that the following supplementary budget applications were adopted:

Agriculture and Forestry (Boreal Forest)

$ 48,050

Transportation Safety

$ 83,250

Security and Intelligence

$ 40,000

At 1:30 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
