Extract from the Journals of the Senate, Friday, March 26, 2004:

The Honourable Senator Sibbeston moved, seconded by the Honourable Senator Gill:

That the Standing Senate Committee on Aboriginal Peoples be authorized to examine and report upon planned federal expenditures, as set out in the 2004-2005 Main Estimates and the March 2004 federal budget, in relation to programs and services delivered to First Nation communities by the Department of Indian Affairs and Northern Development; and

That the Committee table its final report no later than June 30, 2004.

The question being put on the motion, it was adopted.
