Resuming debate on the motion of the Honourable Senator Angus, seconded by the Honourable Senator Meighen, for the second reading of Bill C-25, An Act to amend the Proceeds of Crime (Money Laundering) and Terrorist Financing Act and the Income Tax Act and to make a consequential amendment to another Act.

The bill was then read the second time.

The Honourable Senator Angus moved, seconded by the Honourable Senator Eyton, that the bill be referred to the Standing Senate Committee on Banking, Trade and Commerce.
