Resuming debate on the motion of the Honourable Senator Tkachuk, seconded by the Honourable Senator Johnson, for the second reading of Bill C-294, An Act to amend the Income Tax Act (sports and recreation programs).

The bill was then read the second time.

The Honourable Senator Tkachuk moved, seconded by the Honourable Senator Angus, that the bill be referred to the Standing Senate Committee on National Finance.
