The Standing Senate Committee on Foreign Affairs and International Trade has the honour to present its
SECOND REPORT
Your Committee, which was authorized by the Senate on Thursday, November 22, 2007 to examine such issues that may arise from time to time relating to foreign relations generally, respectfully requests that it be empowered to engage the services of such counsel and technical, clerical and other personnel as may be necessary for the purpose of its study.
Pursuant to Chapter 3:06, section 2(1)(c) of the Senate Administrative Rules, the budget submitted to the Standing Committee on Internal Economy, Budgets and Administration and the report thereon of that Committee are appended to this report.

The Honourable Senator Di Nino moved, seconded by the Honourable Senator Oliver:
That the Standing Senate Committee on Foreign Affairs and International Trade, in accordance with Rule 86(1)(h), be authorized to examine such issues as may arise from time to time relating to Foreign relations generally; and
That the committee report to the Senate no later than June 30, 2009.
