The Standing Senate Committee on National Finance met this day, at 6:34 p.m., in room 9, Victoria Building, the chair, the Honourable Joseph A. Day, presiding.

Members of the committee present: The Honourable Senators Callbeck, Carignan, Day, Dickson, Eggleton, P.C., Finley, Gerstein, Marshall, Murray, P.C., Neufeld, Poulin and Ringuette (12).

Pursuant to the order of reference adopted by the Senate on Thursday, June 10, 2010, the committee continued its examination of Bill C-9, An Act to implement certain provisions of the budget tabled in Parliament on March 4, 2010 and other measures.
