The Subcommittee on Diversity met this day at 2:30 p.m., in room 172-E, Centre Block, the chair, the Honourable Mobina S. B. Jaffer, presiding.

Members of the subcommittee present: The Honourable Senators Jaffer, Marshall and Tannas (3).

Other senator present: The Honourable Senator Omidvar (1).

In attendance: Luc Presseau, Director of Human Resources.

Also present: The official reporters of the Senate.

Pursuant to rule 12-7(1) of the Rules of the Senate, the subcommittee continued its consideration of financial and administrative matters concerning the Senate's internal administration.

WITNESSES:

Public Service Commission of Canada:

Tim Pettipas, Acting Senior Vice-President;

Robert McSheffrey, Director General, Personnel Psychology Centre;

Geoff Zerr, Acting Director General, Policy Development Directorate;

Nathalie Roy, Director, Data Services and Analysis Directorate.

Mr. Pettipas made a statement and, together with Mr. McSheffrey, Mr. Zerr and Ms. Roy, answered questions.

At 3:48 p.m., the subcommittee suspended.

At 3:52 p.m., the subcommittee resumed in camera, pursuant to rule 12-16(1)(d), to consider a draft agenda.

The subcommittee considered a draft agenda.

At 4:13 p.m., the subcommittee adjourned to the call of the chair.
