The Standing Senate Committee on National Finance met this day at 6:45 p.m., in room 9, Victoria Building, the chair, the Honourable Percy Mockler, presiding.
Members of the committee present: The Honourable Senators Andreychuk, Black (Alberta), Cools, Eaton, Marshall, Mockler, Moncion, Neufeld and Pratte (9).
In attendance: Alex Smith and Sylvain Fleury, Analysts, Parliamentary Information and Research Service, Library of Parliament.
Also present: The official reporters of the Senate.
Pursuant to the order of reference adopted by the Senate on Wednesday, January 27, 2016, the committee continued its examination of such issues as may arise from time to time relating to federal estimates generally, including the public accounts, reports of the Auditor General and government finances. Ms. Lahaie and Mr. Fabiano each made a statement and, together with Ms. Money and Mr. Kearney, answered questions.
At 7:37 p.m., the committee suspended.
At 7:43 p.m., the committee resumed.
At 7:45 p.m., the minister made a statement and, together with Mr. Linklater, answered questions.
At 8:44 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the chair.
