The Standing Senate Committee on National Finance met this day at 1:30 p.m., in room 257, East Block, the chair, the Honourable Percy Mockler, presiding.
Members of the committee present: The Honourable Senators Andreychuk, Cools, Deacon, Eaton, Jaffer, Marshall, Mockler, Moncion, Neufeld and Pratte (10).
In attendance: Alex Smith and Shaowei Pu, Analysts, Parliamentary Information and Research Service, Library of Parliament.
Also present: The official reporters of the Senate.
Pursuant to the order of reference adopted by the Senate on Wednesday, April 18, 2018, the committee continued its study of the expenditures set out in the Main Estimates for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2019. Ms. Cahill and Ms. Spence each made a statement and, together with Mr. Mongeau, Ms. MacDonald and Ms. Sinnott, answered questions.
At 2:53 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the chair.
