The Standing Senate Committee on National Finance met this day at 6:45 p.m., in room 9, Victoria Building, the chair, the Honourable Percy Mockler, presiding).
Members of the committee present: The Honourable Senators Andreychuk, Bellemare, Deacon (Ontario), Eaton, Marshall, Mockler, Moncion, Neufeld and Pratte (9).
Other senator present: The Honourable Senator Dalphond (1).
In attendance: Alex Smith, Analyst, Parliamentary Information and Research Services, Library of Parliament.
Also present: The official reporters of the Senate.
Pursuant to the order of reference adopted by the Senate on Tuesday, June 5, 2018, the committee continued its consideration of Bill S-243, An Act to amend the Canada Revenue Agency Act (reporting on unpaid income tax). (For complete text of the order of reference, see proceedings of the committee, Issue No. 73.)

Mr. Moore, Mr. Howlett, Mr. Vaillancourt and Mr. Bouchard each made a statement and answered questions.
At 8:00 p.m., the committee suspended.
At 8:04 p.m., pursuant to rule 12-16(1)(d), the committee resumed in camera to consider a draft agenda (future business).
It was agreed that the senators' staff be permitted to remain in the room during the in camera meeting.
It was agreed that the Chair be authorized to ask the Senate to adopt and order of reference on the subject of military procurement and that the Subcommittee on Agenda and Procedure be authorized to approve the final wording of the motion, taking into consideration the discussions held today and making any changes of style and content deemed necessary.
At 20:25 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the chair
