APPLICATION FOR EMERGENCY DEBATE
Pursuant to Rule 60(4), the Honourable Senator Gustafson requested that the Senate do now adjourn for the purpose of discussing a matter of urgent public importance, namely: the current farm crisis.After debate, The Speaker ruled that the request did meet the requirements for an emergency debate.
Accordingly, pursuant to Rule 61(1) leave was granted to move a motion that the Senate do now adjourn for the purpose of discussing the matter, later this day.
