MOTIONS
The Honourable Senator Roche moved, seconded by the Honourable Senator Finestone, P.C. :That the Senate recommends that the Government of Canada urge the Nuclear Weapon States to reaffirm their unequivocal commitment to take action towards the total elimination of their nuclear weapons, as called for by the Non-proliferation Treaty, which will be reviewed April 24 - May 19, 2000.
