Introduction and First Reading of Government Bills

The Honourable Senator Martin introduced a Bill S-7, An Act to amend the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act, the Civil Marriage Act and the Criminal Code and to make consequential amendments to other Acts.

The bill was read the first time.

The Honourable Senator Martin moved, seconded by the Honourable Senator Stewart Olsen, that the bill be placed on the Orders of the Day for a second reading two days hence.

Tabling of Reports from Inter-Parliamentary Delegations
