The Honourable Senator Brazeau introduced Bill S-254, An Act to amend the Food and Drugs Act (warning label on alcoholic beverages).
The bill was read the first time.
The Honourable Senator Brazeau moved, seconded by the Honourable Senator McCallum, that the bill be placed on the Orders of the Day for a second reading two days hence.
The question being put on the motion, it was adopted.
The Honourable Senator Boisvenu introduced Bill S-255, An Act to amend the Criminal Code (murder of an intimate partner, one’s own child or an intimate partner’s child).
The bill was read the first time.
The Honourable Senator Boisvenu moved, seconded by the Honourable Senator Manning, that the bill be placed on the Orders of the Day for a second reading two days hence.
The question being put on the motion, it was adopted.
