The Special Senate Committee on Aging met this day at 12:35 p.m. in room 9, Victoria Building, the Chair, the Honourable Sharon Carstairs, P.C., presiding.
Members of the committee present: The Honourable Senators Carstairs, P.C., Chaput, Cordy, Keon, Mercer and Murray, P.C. (6).

Pursuant to the Order of Reference adopted by the Senate on Tuesday, November 7, 2006 the committee resumed its consideration of the implications of an aging society in Canada. (For the full text of the Order of Reference, see Issue No. 1, Monday, November 27, 2006.)
