The Standing Senate Committee on National Finance met this day, at 2 p.m., in room 160-S, Centre Block, the chair, the Honourable Joseph A. Day, presiding.
Members of the committee present: The Honourable Senators Buth, Callbeck, Day, Eaton, Gerstein, Hervieux- Payette, P.C., Nancy Ruth, Peterson, Ringuette, Runciman, Smith (Saurel) and Stewart Olsen (12).

Pursuant to the order of reference adopted by the Senate on Thursday, May 3, 2012, the committee continued its examination of the subject-matter of all of Bill C-38, An Act to implement certain provisions of the budget tabled in Parliament on March 29, 2012 and other measures, introduced in the House of Commons on April 26, 2012, in advance of the said bill coming before the Senate.
