Ottawa – The Chair of the Standing Committee on Ethics and Conflict of Interest for Senators today tabled in the Senate, on behalf of the Committee, the Senate Ethics Officer’s Inquiry Report under the Ethics and Conflict of Interest Code for Senators concerning Senator Lynn Beyak.

Under the Code, the Committee is to recommend appropriate remedial measures and/or sanctions to the Senate for its consideration.  Any recommended measures and/or sanctions become effective once adopted by the Senate.
