The Standing Committee on Ethics and Conflict of Interest for Senators deposited with the Clerk of the Senate on Friday a report of the Senate Ethics Officer entitled “Inquiry Report under the Ethics and Conflict of Interest Code for Senators concerning former Senator Don Meredith.”

The committee will consider the ethics officer’s report under section 49 of the Ethics and Conflict of Interest Code for Senators. Any report that arises from the committee’s considerations will be deposited with the Clerk of the Senate and made public.

Committee members will make no further comment at this time.
