On a point of order, Madam Speaker. Correct me if I’m wrong, but Senator Plett is not on debate on an item, so I’m not sure he can move to adjourn the Senate.

I’ve asked this question on a number of occasions of the clerks and it has always been a debatable question, so I would like an exact ruling on this. If I’m wrong, Senator Plett, I will bow to the rules.
