 In November 2013, the Senate Committee on Agriculture and Forestry began to look into alarming reports of dwindling bee populations in North America. Bees, after all, pollinate the crops of many foods we eat every day. During its study, the committee heard from 85 witnesses over 8 months, from Canada, the EU and Australia, beekeepers, farmers, academics and industry representatives. Here is what they found.
