Senators get loud about Mental Health
The Senate of Canada is getting loud about mental health.
From May 7 to May 13, senators are joining Canadians in support of Mental Health Week. Almost seven million Canadians live with mental health problems, mental illness or addiction. We all know someone who’s affected.
This week, take the time to reach out to those around you — a simple act of kindness can make a world of difference.
There are many ways we can help those who suffer from mental health challenges. One of them is talking about it. This #MentalHealthWeek, I encourage you to speak up about what #MentalHealth means to you. Let’s all #GetLoud and transform how we view mental illness in Canada. pic.twitter.com/rxFhM1qipu
