The Honourable Senator Hays moved, seconded by the Honourable Senator Johnstone:

That Bill C-26, An Act to amend the Canada Grain Act and the Agriculture and Agri-Food Administrative Monetary Penalties Act and to repeal the Grain Futures Act be referred to the Standing Senate Committee on Agriculture and Forestry.

The question being put on the motion, it was adopted.
