Resuming debate on the motion of the Honourable Senator Stollery, seconded by the Honourable Senator Hays, for the second reading of Bill C-4, An Act to implement the Agreement among the Government of Canada, Governments of Member States of the European Space Agency, the Government of Japan, the Government of the Russian Federation, and the Government of the United States of America concerning Cooperation on the Civil International Space Station and to make related amendments to other Acts.

After debate, The question being put on the motion, it was adopted.

The Bill was then read the second time.

The Honourable Senator Hays moved, seconded by the Honourable Senator Corbin, that the Bill be referred to the Standing Senate Committee on Foreign Affairs.
