Extract from the Journals of the Senate, Thursday, June 17, 2010:

Resuming debate on the motion of the Honourable Senator Tkachuk, seconded by the Honourable Senator LeBreton, P.C., for the second reading of Bill S-7, An Act to deter terrorism and to amend the State Immunity Act.

The question being put on the motion, it was adopted.

The bill was then read the second time.

The Honourable Senator Comeau moved, seconded by the Honourable Senator Di Nino, that the bill be referred to the Special Senate Committee on Anti-terrorism.
