The Standing Senate Committee on Human Rights met this day, at 3:02 p.m., in room 257, East Block, the chair, the Honourable Nancy Ruth, presiding.
Members of the committee present: The Honourable Senators Andreychuk, Ataullahjan, Baker, Brazeau, Jaffer, Kochhar, Lovelace Nicholas, Mercer, Nancy Ruth and Zimmer (10).

Pursuant to the order of reference adopted by the Senate on Thursday, November 25, 2010, the committee continued its examination Bill C-3, An Act to promote gender equity in Indian registration by responding to the Court of Appeal for British Columbia decision in McIvor v.
