Resuming debate on the motion of the Honourable Senator Boisvenu, seconded by the Honourable Senator Meredith, for the second reading of Bill C-293, An Act to amend the Corrections and Conditional Release Act (vexatious complainants).

The question being put on the motion, it was adopted.

The bill was then read the second time.

The Honourable Senator Carignan moved, seconded by the Honourable Senator Raine, that the bill be referred to the Standing Senate Committee on Standing Senate Committee on Legal and Constitutional Affairs.
