The Standing Senate Committee on Fisheries and Oceans met this day at 8:05 a.m., in room B30, Senate of Canada Building, the chair, the Honourable Fabian Manning, presiding.
Members of the committee present: The Honourable Senators Busson, Campbell, Christmas, Gold, Hartling, Manning, McInnis, McIntyre and Poirier (9).
In attendance: Daniele Lafrance, Analyst, Parliamentary Information and Research Services, Library of Parliament and Ben Silverman, Communications Officer, Senate Communications Directorate.
Also present: The official reporters of the Senate.
Pursuant to the order of reference adopted by the Senate on Tuesday, December 11, 2018, the committee continued its consideration of Bill C-68, An Act to amend the Fisheries Act and other Acts in consequence.
