The Committee of Selection met this day at 11:45 a.m., in room B45, Senate of Canada Building, the chair, the Honourable Donald Neil Plett, presiding.

Members of the committee present: The Honourable Senators Campbell, Kutcher, Martin, Omidvar, Plett and Wallin (6).

Also present: The official reporters of the Senate.

The committee proceeded to the election of a deputy chair.

The Honourable Senator Omidvar moved:

That the Honourable Senator Wallin be deputy chair of this committee.

The question being put on the motion, it was adopted.

At 11:47 a.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the chair.
