The Standing Senate Committee on Social Affairs, Science and Technology met in camera this day at 10:29 a.m., in room 2, Victoria Building, the Honourable Senator Kelvin K. Ogilvie, Chair, presiding.
Members of the committee present: The Honourable Senators Buth, Cordy, Dyck, Eggleton, P.C., Enverga, Merchant, Munson, Ogilvie, Seidman, Seth, Unger and Verner, P.C. (12).
In attendance: Sonya Norris, Analyst, Parliamentary Information and Research Service, Library of Parliament and David Charbonneau, Communications Officer, Communications Directorate.
Also in attendance: The official reporters of the Senate.
Pursuant to rule 12-16(1)(d), the committee considered a draft agenda.
At 10:55 a.m., the committee suspended.
At 10:56 a.m., the committee resumed in public and pursuant to the order of reference adopted by the Senate on Thursday, April 26, 2012, the committee continued its study on Bill S-204, An Act to establish a national strategy for chronic cerebrospinal venous insufficiency (CCSVI).
