The Standing Senate Committee on Foreign Affairs and International Trade met this day at 4:17 p.m., in room 160- S, Centre Block, the chair, the Honourable A. Raynell Andreychuk, presiding.
Members of the committee present: The Honourable Senators Andreychuk, Ataullahjan, Beyak, Cordy, Downe, Fortin-Duplessis, Housakos, Oh, Robichaud, P.C. and Verner, P.C. (10).
In attendance: Mark Palmer, Acting Procedural Clerk; Pascal Tremblay and James Lee, Analysts, Parliamentary Information and Research Service, Library of Parliament.
Also in attendance: The official reporters of the Senate.
Pursuant to the order of reference adopted by the Senate on Thursday, October 30, 2014, the committee continued its examination of Bill C-41, An Act to implement the Free Trade Agreement between Canada and the Republic of Korea. (For the complete text of the order of reference, see proceedings of the committee, Issue No. 18.)

The chair made an opening statement.
Mr. Sporer and Ms. Citeau each made a statement and, together with Mr. de Kemp, answered questions.
At 4:54 p.m., the committee suspended.
At 5:10 p.m., the committee resumed.
Mr. Masswohl and Ms. Nott each made a statement and answered questions.
At 5:58 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the chair.
