The Standing Senate Committee on National Finance met this day at 2:15 p.m., in room 356-S, Centre Block, the chair, the Honourable Joseph A. Day, presiding.
Members of the committee present: The Honourable Senators Bellemare, Day, Eaton, Gerstein, Mockler, Rivard, Smith (Saurel) and Wells (8).
Other senators present: The Honourable Senators Eggleton, P.C., Massicotte, Neufeld and Ogilvie (4).
In attendance: Sylvain Fleury and Raphaëlle Deraspe, Analysts, Parliamentary Information and Research Service, Library of Parliament.
Also present: The official reporters of the Senate.
Pursuant to the order of reference adopted by the Senate on Thursday, October 30, 2014, the committee continued its examination of the subject matter of Bill C-43, A second Act to implement certain provisions of the budget tabled in Parliament on February 11, 2014 and other measures. (For the complete order of reference, see proceedings of the committee, Issue No. 20.)

At 3:18 p.m., the committee resumed.
