The Standing Senate Committee on Social Affairs, Science and Technology met this day at 8:03 a.m., in room 256-S, Centre Block, the chair, the Honourable Kelvin Kenneth Ogilvie, presiding.

Members of the committee present: The Honourable Senators Chaput, Cordy, Eggleton, P.C., Nancy Ruth, Ogilvie, Seidman, Seth and Stewart Olsen (8).

Pursuant to the order of reference adopted by the Senate on Tuesday, November 19, 2013, the committee continued its study on prescription pharmaceuticals in Canada. (For complete text of the order of reference, see proceedings of the committee, Issue No. 3.)

At 10:04 a.m., the committee suspended.

At 10:18 a.m., the committee resumed.

The roundtable discussion continued.

At 12:01 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the chair.
