The Standing Senate Committee on Foreign Affairs and International Trade met this day at 10:33 a.m., in room 160-S, Centre Block, the chair, the Honourable A. Raynell Andreychuk, presiding.
Members of the committee present: The Honourable Senators Andreychuk, Bovey, Cools, Downe, Gold, Housakos, Marshall, Marwah, Munson, Ngo, Saint-Germain and Woo (12).
Other senator present: The Honourable Senator Pratte (1).
In attendance: Natalie Mychajlyszyn, Pascal Tremblay and Alexandra Smith, Analysts, Parliamentary Information and Research Services, Library of Parliament.

Pursuant to the order of reference adopted by the Senate on Tuesday, March 7, 2017, the committee began its consideration of Bill C-30, An Act to implement the Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement between Canada and the European Union and its Member States and to provide for certain other measures.
