The Standing Senate Committee on National Finance met this day at 6:51 p.m., in room W120, 1 Wellington Street, the chair, the Honourable Percy Mockler, presiding.
Members of the committee present: The Honourable Senators Andreychuk, Boehm, Busson, Deacon (Ontario), Duncan, Eaton, Forest, Marshall, Martin, Mockler, Moncion, Omidvar and Pratte (13).
Other senator present: The Honourable Senator Klyne (1).
In attendance: Alex Smith and Shaowei Pu, Analysts, Parliamentary Information and Research Service, Library of Parliament; Stéphanie Pépin, Legislative Clerk, Senate of Canada.

Pursuant to the order of reference adopted by the Senate on Monday, June 10, 2019, the committee continued its consideration of Bill C-97, An Act to implement certain provisions of the budget tabled in Parliament on March 19, 2019 and other measures.
The chair made a statement.

It was agreed that the title stand postponed.

It was agreed that observations be appended to the committee's report on Bill C-97.
At 8:07 p.m., the Honourable Senator Busson replaced the Honourable Senator Pratte.
At 8:18 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the chair.
