The Standing Senate Committee on Social Affairs, Science and Technology met this day at 10:30 a.m., in room 2, Victoria Building, the chair, the Honourable Kelvin Kenneth Ogilvie, presiding.
Members of the committee present: The Honourable Senators Cormier, Dean, Eggleton, P.C., Frum, Hartling, Jaffer, Mégie, Neufeld, Ogilvie, Omidvar, Raine, Seidman and Stewart Olsen (13).
Also present: The official reporters of the Senate.
Pursuant to the order of reference adopted by the Senate on Wednesday, February 1, 2017, the committee began its examination of Bill S-210, An Act to amend An Act to amend the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act, the Civil Marriage Act and the Criminal Code and to make consequential amendments to other Acts.
WITNESS:

At 11:07 a.m., it was agreed that committee proceeded to clause by clause consideration of Bill S-210, An Act to amend An Act to amend the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act, the Civil Marriage Act and the Criminal Code and to make consequential amendments to other Acts.
